quartet

“quartet” is made up of 4 scores, each using ink, pencils, collage, acrylic paint, etc. the letters that have been collaged onto the work consist of streams of the letters a-g, and were laid down following the order of notes within a single page of a 12 page classical music score. each drawing also includes a specific series of colored marks following one of buckminster fuller’s notations towards one of his pre-fab domes and the color system he used to organize the parts.

in some cases the collages were cut apart and re-arranged. each of the smaller drawings sit on a shelf so that the orientation can be changed during a performance. the two longer taller drawings lean against the wall.

the four drawings/scores comprise one piece.
