let everything that hath breath, was inspired by a series of schematics of a large pipe organ in france – also inspired by color/light organ experiments in the early 1900’s. it was also an early attempt at creating an object that might evoke sound rather than having an actual audible component. in a way, it was kind of a ‘listening icon’ – something that one might look at for awhile so as to become aware of the sounds in the space.
